handmade + sourced goods from the cape to californiashop the collection
Milisa Moses, maker + propietor, began Salt Cellar Shop in 2013, designing and creating handmade, natural products for the kitchen, home + body. Plantbased and inspired, her goods were made with organic ingredients and without a sales pitch.
After moving to outer Cape Cod in 2014, Salt Cellar Shop became her full time focus. On Cape, she was welcomed into the farmers' market community and attended multiple markets all year long. Milisa offered her plant infused salves and oils alongside flowers and herbs from her garden.
Along this journey, she connected with talented growers and makers, leading to a summer pop-up experiment on a local, one acre farm. The shop was called The Dooryard, sharing its name with the New England term used to describe the space on a farm that everything opened out on to; the heart of the farm. A twist on the farmstand vernacular, the shop was stocked with fresh local produce, flowers, and a curated selection of goods connecting farm + home. Thoughtfully designed and meticulously made, Milisa was drawn to these goods and makers because of the art of their craft and dedication to the process.
This collection of goods from the Cape to California is now available online all year long. Sign up below for news on where Salt Cellar Shop will pop-up next.
